Love bobsleigh and skeleton? Ever thought about being track side for all the events and volunteering? Consider being an official for the IBSF! 

**Officials/Volunteers needed!!**

Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton is hosting the Intercontinental Cup (Skeleton) and North American Cup for Skeleton and Bobsleigh at the Whistler Sliding Centre from November 23rd to December 3rd and World Cup Skeleton and Bobsleigh from January 19th to 23rd and are in need of some extra help. If you are available to help out for any of the race days, please email info@slidebc.ca. This is a great opportunity to get up close to the lightning fast action! No experience required!

FIBT Level 1 Officials Course

November 14th 2015 - 1pm to 4pm (Saturday)

 

Where: Whistler Sliding Centre
Cost: FREE! (but must have paid BCBSA Membership fee - $25.00)

The next level one official’s course will be held at the Whistler Sliding Centre at 13:00 Saturday, November 14th.  The course consists of two parts, part one is a three hour classroom session and track familiarization.  Part two is a practical session at an actual race which will take place on TBD.  No previous experience is required.  You must be at least 16 years old and be able to work in the cold for a few hours.  The course is free but you will be required to purchase a $25 BCBSA membership for insurance purposes.  Those interested in the course please send your name, email, and phone number to officials@slidebc.ca to register. Please arrive 15 minutes early at the Guest Services building to check in for the day of the course.
